In 2021, we completed a proof-of-concept short film also titled FLYOVER, exploring a day in the life of a modern Midwestern community as a farmhand hunts for the cow he scared away. We premiered in our local movie theater and invited the town. The seats were filled for two full screenings in August 2021, and there was so much community enthusiasm that we received enough donations to pay for a year’s worth of film festival submissions.

With the help of the town, FLYOVER became an award- winning short film receiving many Official Selections at Film Festivals across the United States in 2022, from Kansas City to Los Angeles, New Orleans to Knoxville.
The strong reception of the short film with national and local audiences gave us the confidence to pursue the feature length project.
